Rangatahi Development Lead

This role requires flexibility with work hours.
This role requires the candidate to have some coaching experience.
The role will include night and weekend work. The successful candidate will need to be available on all competition nights/days.
The role will require the individual to work as part of a team including fellow staff, volunteers, and internal/external stakeholders to ensure the smooth running of our competitions, workshops, and programmes we offer.
The role may require the individual to work increased hours during the netball season. As this position has specified part-time hours, any increase or movement of specified hours will be discussed with the employee.
The role does require someone with a reasonable standard of fitness.
Role Specifics Develop skillset leading/facilitating bimonthly meetings with secondary school/TNC committee alongside TNC Centre Manager.
Support Umpire Lead with secondary school umpire allocations (understanding skill levels and allocating accordingly).
Support the Umpire Lead to deliver LTU at secondary schools.
Umpire Coach – Secondary School level – LTU, Centre, Zone.
Introduce secondary school connects with selected rangatahi from our secondary schools.
Introduce survey in collaboration with Secondary School rangatahi connects to understand any barriers, improving the experience, retaining participants, increasing participation.
Be the face and voice for our youth.
Develop skillset to facilitate CCA1 for rangatahi who coach players.
Potential candidate to deliver Good Sports sessions.
Any operational/administrative duties required alongside our normal operations.
Position Specifications Coaching Experience (some).
Confident to facilitate meetings and workshops (development/training available).
Initiating engagement with rangatahi and secondary school coordinators – gaining insights, facilitating group meetings.
Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Proficient with social media platforms.
Ability to work autonomously.
Ability to work hours of flexibility.
