The IT Service Desk Operator is responsible for providing friendly and efficient first and second level IT support to Scion staff and customers. This includes general and broad IT services such as telephone, email and drop-in support and training to Scion staff.
Key accountabilities:
Provide excellent customer service to all Scion staff and customers.
Provide support for Scion's end-user computing environment (desktops, tablets, and mobile devices), hardware, operating systems, software and applications, along with non-standard operating systems.
Monitor and report on support activities and overall IT service availability.
To be successful you will have:
Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator (MCSA) level qualification or equivalent experience.
Experience in a Service Desk or Help Desk role.
Exceptional customer service skills, with ability to build rapport and maintain a helpful customer-centric attitude.
Excellent organisational and administrative skills.
Excellent interpersonal communication skills, including the ability to present technology to a customer or group of customers in a way that can be understood.
Excellent knowledge in the use of Windows, Office 365 applications, email systems, collaborative systems, audio visual and video conferencing facilities.
Ability to learn new systems and apply your knowledge quickly.
Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and in a team.
