Seeking an operational manager, with a knowledge of the health sector, to provide operational delivery of imaging services.

This is a significant leadership position within the Radiology Service of Te Whatu Ora (Nelson Marlborough). You will report to the Service Manager Clinical Support and, in partnership with other clinical services, will provide operational delivery of imaging services from Wairau Hospital including, in partnership with the leadership team, continuously improving service design and delivery.
A key aspect of the role will be to ensure the service delivers to the targets and annual plan objectives, ensuring patients receive imaging in the most safe, timely, effective, and convenient manner.
Positive engagement with stakeholders, clinical staff, and management is essential.
This role is permanent, full-time working 80 hours of Monday to Friday between 7.00am and 6.00pm.

As an operational manager, with a good knowledge of the health sector, you will lead by example, be highly visible, be able to champion ideas, and motivate those around you.
You will be skilful at developing and fostering collaborative working relationships internally and externally, through establishing the respect and trust of those you come in contact with.
The successful candidate must be eligible to work in New Zealand or hold a valid NZ work visa at the time of applying.
