Status - Permanent Part time positions available.
Shifts : The shifts consist of morning and afternoons, on a 2-week roster.
Hours : Between 7.30 am to 5pm and 4.30pm to 11pm Monday to Sunday including public holidays (minimum 12 hours a week to maximum of 24 hours per week).
Location - Christchurch Hospital, Burwood Hospital and Christchurch Women's Hospital.
Salary - Starting from $31.62 per hour, based on the PSA Allied, Public Health and Technical collective agreement.

The Radiology Department at Waipapa Hospital is looking for efficient and flexible Radiographic Assistants to join our kapa (team). This is a varied role for someone with a passion for patient care and who is looking to develop their career in healthcare.
Although you'll primarily be working at Waipapa campus, this position may require you to work at our Burwood or Christchurch Women's campuses too. Our service runs between the hours of 7am - 11pm Monday - Sunday, therefore you'll need to be flexible in your availability and adaptable to work within varying teams and departments across our sites.
This role is ever-evolving and will keep you thinking.
In this role, you will be responsible for:
Interacting with patients in person and handling enquiries over the phone;
Inputting patient details;
Organising inpatient appointments;
Assisting with patients;
Supporting the MRTs or Sonographers and Registrars.

Excellent communication skills as well as great attention to detail and organisational skills;

The ability to work co-operatively in a large and busy environment;
Knowledge of the Health Sector;
Experience in customer service is essential;

No radiology experience or qualification is required for the position; however, a passion for the field of Radiology and commitment to patient care is essential.
