Join us as an Experienced Fitter in our Quarries and Industries team in Greymouth!
In this role, you will work closely with our quarries / industries team to produce parts or tools and fit and assemble them as needed.
You will ensure all work is delivered for our customers, safely, on time and to the highest quality standard.
In addition to the above you will: Complete various project works / new equipment builds (including in-house design). Carry out repairs and maintenance of equipment. Provide support to on-site crews and their equipment (including fabrication, diagnostics and maintenance). Good Work equals Good Benefits Medical insurance for you and your whanau. We're looking for someone with: An NZQA qualification in Mechanical Engineering (Fitting & Machining) and/or significant industry experience. Full Class 1 licence (Class 2 is advantageous). Strong mechanical, machining and welding skills. Competent in reading & interpreting engineering drawings. The ability to problem solve in a fast-paced environment. A proactive approach to Health and Safety - it's our #1 priority. Good interpersonal and communication skills. A positive can-do attitude, willingness to learn new skills and most importantly, a good sense of humour.
