They work on projects all around the UK and have exported to over 140 countries throughout the company's history. Our client, an engineering and manufacturing expert, is now expanding and is looking for a Quantity Surveyor to join their established team.Key Responsibilities as Quantity Surveyor:Support a very busy Project Management function.Provide cost data for all elements of a Project, evaluating time, labour costs, and expenditure across all project disciplines.Facilitate effective decision-making and contribute to the overall success of the Project.Analyse Cost vs. budget data from the ERP system.Report and communicate the results of the report details to Project Managers.Problem-solve and create action plans with the Project Managers as required.Advise on contractual issues to help ensure projects meet legal and quality standards.Experience as Quantity Surveyor:Must be a great communicator with clear written and verbal skills.AssocRICS or MRICS desirable.Great problem solver and solutions provider.Tenacious and driven.Strong IT Skills.Some knowledge of construction.Benefits for Quantity Surveyor:Competitive basic salary Circa £50k DOE.No blame culture business with great values.On-site parking.Pension.This is a full-time permanent position for the successful Quantity Surveyor.
