If this sounds like you…read on.What will you be doing?Reporting to the Quality and Compliance Manager and part of a three-person team, this role will have a broad base of daily responsibilities that will include:Ensure pre-requisite programs are maintained, adhered to, and updated as required.Assist in maintaining the site's quality compliance requirements and documentation.Conduct internal audits, and assist with external regulatory and client audits and any follow-ups.Provide support and technical expertise to production and dispatch, problem-solving and troubleshooting quality issues, ensuring that quality and food safety integrity is always maintained.Respond to internal and external non-conformances and customer complaints.What are we looking for?A tertiary qualification in Food Science or Food Technology (or similar).At least 5 years' experience working in quality assurance, compliance, or food technology in a food manufacturing environment.Lead auditor certification and experience, and certification in HACCP.Experience in maintaining requirements like Risk Management Programs, Quality Management Systems, and Custom Food Control Plans.Experience conducting internal audits and assisting in external audits.Experience in delivering training to staff at all levels of the business.Experience leading, coaching, and managing a team.Strong focus on health & safety.A positive, pragmatic, 'can-do' attitude and the ability to get along well with others in the team and the rest of the business.Benefits and Role DetailsSalary range from $85,000 to $100,000 per annum, depending on skills and experience.Permanent, full-time role working 40 hours, Monday to Friday in South Auckland.How to applyClick on APPLY and upload your CV and cover letter; Yvette Harrison will get back to you shortly.
