Quality & Risk Management Lead / Pou Mataara Quality & Risk Management Lead / Pou Mataara Child Welfare, Youth & Family Services (Community Services & Development) Full time Add expected salary to your profile for insights Quality & Risk Management Lead /Pou Mataara Full Time, Permanent, Northland Based ABOUT THE ROLE Te Pou Mataara – Quality and Risk Management Team Leader ensures that Ngapuhi Iwi Social Services quality management systems are developed, maintained and monitored to ensure compliance with legislative requirements and quality standards determined by Social Sector Accreditation Standards (SSAS).
In addition, Te Pou Mataara provides effective and efficient Quality Coordination/Management and administrative support.
WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in relevant field Deep knowledge of quality assurance terminology, methods, and tools Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills Proficiency in best practices for testing, version control, and defect management Understanding of Social Sector Accreditation Standards (SSAS) accreditation processes and how Quality Assurance functions within it Knowledge and understanding of relevant legislation including but not limited to the Children, Young Persons and Their Families Act 1989.
Ngapuhi Iwi Social Services (NISS) was originally established in 1986 to provide Maatua Whangai services and became a section 396 provider in 1996.
In 2006, NISS became a subsidiary of Te Runanga-A-Iwi-O-Ngapuhi.
