About The Role
An exciting opportunity has become available for a Quality Technician to join the QA Team based at a brand-new site in Wiri - Auckland. The successful candidate will play a crucial role as a Quality Technician in an FMCG environment, where maintaining product quality, ensuring customer satisfaction, and upholding the company's reputation for excellence are paramount.
Shift: Two-week rotating roster (may involve occasionally staying back until production is complete)
Week One: Monday to Thursday 1:00pm to 10:30pm
Week Two: Monday, Tuesday, Friday and Saturday 1:00pm to 10:30pm

Responsibilities Of Role Include
Work closely with the Production Manager and team members to ensure compliance with Quality Systems.
Manage routine internal and external communication with key stakeholders.
Maintain and update quality assurance policies, procedures, and guidelines.
Educate and assist the team in understanding Food Safety and Quality requirements.
Provide administrative support to quality processes including collation of supplier compliance actions.
Coordinate quality assurance activities such as testing, quality reviews, and factory audits.
Coordinate meetings and collaborate with others to implement the QA framework.
Analyze trends and quality-related data sets.
Escalate issues as they arise, working as part of a team.
Maintain quality-related data for analysis and reporting in accordance with the QA framework.
Minimum Requirements
Experience in a fast-paced food or other manufacturing facility is preferred.
Previous QC experience is advantageous but not mandatory.
Knowledge of quality assurance and food safety standards.
Possession of any tertiary education degree is a plus.
Strong attention to detail is essential.
Proficiency in computer skills is desirable.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
