About The Role
An exciting opportunity has become available for a Quality Controller to join the QA Team based at a brand-new site in Wiri - Auckland. The successful candidate will play a crucial role as a Quality Controller in an FMCG environment, where maintaining product quality, ensuring customer satisfaction, and upholding the company's reputation for excellence are paramount.
Shift: Two-week rotating roster (may involve occasionally staying back until production is complete)
Week One: Monday to Thursday 1:00 pm to 10:30 pm
Week Two: Monday, Tuesday, Friday and Saturday 1:00 pm to 10:30 pm

Responsibilities Of Role Include
Work closely with the Production Manager and team members to ensure compliance to the Quality Systems at all times.
Manage routine internal and external communication with key stakeholders.
Maintain and update quality assurance policies, procedures, guidelines and other relevant documented materials.
Educate and assist the team to understand Food Safety and Quality requirements.
Provide administrative support to quality processes including collation of supplier compliance actions.
Coordinate the quality assurance activities such as testing, quality reviews, factory audits etc.
Coordinate meetings and work collaboratively with others to implement QA framework.
Analyze trends and quality related data sets, including extracting data from relevant QA system.
Escalate issues as they arise - working as part of a great team.
Maintain quality-related data (e.g. Testing, reviews) for analysis and reporting in accordance with QA framework.
Experience That May Be Required
Previous QC experience is advantageous but not mandatory.
Knowledge of quality assurance and food safety standards.
Possession of any tertiary education degree is a plus.
Strong attention to detail is essential.
Proficiency in computer skills above average is desirable.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work within a team.
