Quality Control Inspector (Afternoon Shift)

BFM Global Ltd is the manufacturer of the BFM fitting system, comprised of flexible connectors and spigots that are used by the largest manufacturers in food, chemical, and pharmaceutical industries around the world. We are currently seeking a Quality Assurance & Control Inspector to contribute and improve our quality inspection process. Reporting to our Quality and Process Leader, this key role will work with a small, focused team tasked with ensuring our quality inspection process is implemented correctly through to the final inspection. Experience in a similar quality inspection role will be advantageous but not necessary. All training for this role will be provided to the successful candidate. This position is responsible for the final inspection of our in-house made connectors and spigots, ensuring that the quality of our finished product meets published standards. Working hours: 2:30pm to 11:00pm, Monday to Friday (with occasional Saturdays). Key responsibilities: - Ensure that the final inspection process is carried out in a timely manner to allow packing and dispatch. - Assist with raw material inspections upon arrival at BFM to measure and compare them to standards and procedures. - Assist with regular quality audits according to our standards and procedures. - Contribute to quality team discussions about potential quality issues or process problems.
