Skills and Abilities Competencies… Always ensure fisheries and food safety compliance to mitigate company risk.
Manage and verify food safety processing, HACCP principles and application, RMP, CAR's and supporting programmes.
Strategic thinking to align operations with regulatory requirements, while upholding standards.
Ability to create and/or review quality and compliance-related documents e.g., registers, and document control.
Continually improve… deliver, educate, and provide guidance to the wider team in regard to quality and compliance and why it matters.
Identify and mitigate potential non-compliance risks through best practice, procedures, inspections, and implementing corrective actions.
Professional approach to, and experience of completing audits - internal and external.
Adhere to legal and customer requirements such as OMARs, relevant Acts, COP's and WorkSafe.
Ability to sustain and engage with external parties e.g., MPI.
Prepare and submit accurate, timely, and comprehensive compliance reports, documentation, and filings as required for Pelco and by relevant authorities.
