They are looking for an experienced Quality and Health & Safety Manager to join their team.He aha te tunga | About the roleAt Tuwharetoa ki Kawerau Hauora, people are at the forefront of what they do, both within the team, and in the wider community. Working collaboratively alongside the Change Manager and part of the interim leadership team, the Quality and Health & Safety Manager is responsible for overseeing contractual and legislative health and safety and compliance, employee well-being, and risk management within their growing organisation. This role may have direct reports.Key Responsibilities of the role include:Oversee quality standards, ensuring they meet contract requirementsDevelop and oversee QMS quality framework and annual plansResponsible for Health and Safety complianceIncident management, be first point of call for any workplace incidentsComplete health and safety auditsProvide accurate advice to Change Manager and BoardOversee Risk Management, audit complianceExecution of policies and proceduresProvide guidance and training to team leads and kaimahi on policies and proceduresNga pukenga me whai | The successful candidate requirements:Tertiary Qualification in Management, Health or Similar fieldISO 9001 accreditationSound understanding of Health and Safety legislation complianceWorkplace Certified (Desirable)Compliance Management experienceWorkplace Health and Safety experienceQuality Management Systems experienceProven record working alongside key stakeholders and maintaining good relationshipsPossess strong and effective communication skillsStrong understanding of TKKH and the Eastern Bay of Plenty communitiesPrevious experience working in a diverse organisation in a similar roleExperience de-escalating conflict situationsStrong relationship and network managementOrganisational skillsProficiency in Microsoft OfficeUnderstanding of tikanga MaoriYou will be professional, trustworthy, confidential, and a role model.
