In this newly created role, you will be responsible for monitoring and improving our compliance processes, while also assisting with documentation and reporting.The role:Location: Cumnor Terrace, Woolston, ChristchurchImmediate startThe offer:Supportive and friendly work environmentCompetitive pay packageOpportunities for career growth and developmentThe job:You will be implementing food safety compliance policies and procedures, conducting internal audits and training staff on food safety and quality best practices. This role is crucial to maintaining the quality and integrity of our products. The main responsibilities include:Ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and company standards, including the Service Foods national custom Food Control Plan.Creating site-specific documents for quality and compliance requirements.Conducting and coordinating training for staff.Identifying areas for improvement through analysis of complaints, investigations, internal audits, site inspections, and communication with others.Creating and coordinating quality related corrective action plans to prevent reoccurrence of issues.Promoting a culture of quality and continuous improvement.Collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance and streamline compliance processes.The person:You will have a tertiary qualification in food safety or in a related field. You would also have relevant experience in a similar role.Preferably you will have experience in:Project management.Quality role in a meat manufacturing, produce, and/or food distribution.Working within a Lean Manufacturing or Operational Excellence environment.Halal certification.The key attributes and skills we are seeking:Excellent interpersonal skills with all levels of employees.Excellent English language skills, both spoken and written.Focused and result oriented with excellent time management skills.Strong computer and administration skills.Prior experience in food service processes.Attention to detail and time management skills.Honesty, integrity, and reliability are essential.How to Apply:If you are ready to contribute to the success of Service Foods and ensure our operations are in compliance with the highest standards, we want to hear from you.
