About the Role: Reporting to the Head of Supply Chain and managing a team of three, some of your key responsibilities will include: Manage the relationship with major third-party supply operations in both NZ and Australia to ensure CBNZ finished product is of the highest quality, meets required timeframes, and complies with destination market regulations.
Review contracts to ensure suppliers adhere to agreements.
Lead RFP/Tendering processes for the organization as guided by the Head of Supply Chain.
Conduct market situation analysis to identify alternatives, SWOT, opportunity costs, and other criteria to drive outcomes.
Identify and present initiatives to drive down costs with an emphasis on total cost of ownership across all sectors.
Support and maintain the Business Continuity Plan (BCP) with strategic vendors.
Lead the Raw Materials Team to deliver operationally efficient and cost-effective supply outcomes.
Provide production insights for the sales and marketing team to support NPD and portfolio management processes.
Develop relationships with strategic business partners to enable flex and delivery of the NPD funnel on a project-by-project basis.
About You: Our ideal candidate will have a solid background, with at least 5 years of experience in Procurement and Supply Chain roles.
Negotiation and influencing skills are must-haves, coupled with a good grasp of procurement processes.
You will excel at building and managing relationships, adept at problem-solving, initiative-driven, and outcome-focused.
Ideally, you'd have experience in the Wine Industry or worked within FMCG.
