Some More Information About The Role Reporting to the Finance Manager, your role is to ensure operational efficiency by adhering to and improving organisational purchasing processes. You will be responsible for maintaining effective goods-inwards procedures and supporting inventory management, specifically ensuring the supply and demand of food stocks are met. The role includes overseeing purchasing, confirming deliveries and shipments, managing inventory levels, and providing essential support to relevant departments such as food and beverage operations. Your main responsibilities will consist of the following: Ensuring Health and Safety policies are followed Management of one part-time employee Adhere to restrictions of cost of sales are managed within budgeted guidelines Ensure all stock items received are receipted in as soon as practical on receipt of goods Complete month end functions are completed on time Stock management Assist the wider team with key deliverables as outlined by your manager So Who Are You & What Is Your Profile? You hold a degree in supply chain management, logistics, business administration or are qualified by experience 2-3 years' experience as a purchasing manager or agent Proven experience managing a team within a similar position Stock management Experience with Check SCM is a must You describe yourself as a self-starter who is motivated to strive for positive change Computer literacy with Microsoft applications i.e. Word, Excel and Outlook Excellent attention to detail and ability to work with limited supervision Excellent verbal and written communication skills This role is managed by Chancy Jamieson at Consult; please click the link below to apply as it helps us manage applications.
