Fleet Management (Manufacturing, Transport & Logistics)This role is a key part of the business for our dairy client based in Reporoa. This is a temporary position starting immediately where you will be part of the automotive purchasing and inventory team.About the role:Our client is looking for a candidate who is comfortable with providing a high level of service. Day to day responsibilities include but are not limited to maintaining purchasing records, packaging and delivery of products on time to correct areas, following all correct health and safety standards. The client is happy to provide on-the-job training to further develop skills and build new ones.Key responsibilities:Monitor and use reports ensuring purchasing and payments records are maintainedEnsure inventory management processes are followedDatabase compliance is followedReceive and unpack incoming goodsAssemble and pack outgoing orders and send them out to relevant departmentsCheck the quantity and quality of goods coming in and going outCreate and check transactions and keep records up to dateKeep track of stockSkills & Experience:To thrive in this role, you must be highly reliable and have great communication skillsInwards and outwards goods experience - previous experience working in a store's environmentHigh attention to detail and strong computer skillsPhysically fit - heavy lifting and long periods of standing are involvedTime management skills and an ability to multitaskCurrent OSH certificate is an advantageThe ability to work in a team environmentWhat we need from you:Reliable transportTwo Employment ReferencesPass a pre-employment drug and medical testNo criminal convictionsBy working as a temporary staff member through Drake with this major client, you'll be expected to do what's right and make it happen.
