As part of this growth, we are seeking to employ a Service Technician to operate out of either our Tauranga or Rotorua branches. The successful candidate will have proven experience in the pump industry, specialising in service, fault-finding, and repair. This role offers a wide variety of jobs and experience.
Key Responsibilities: Pump and pump system servicing, fault-finding and repair in domestic, commercial, industrial, and rural settings across the Bay of Plenty and in our Tauranga or Rotorua workshops.
Installation of new pumps and irrigation systems.
Maintenance and troubleshooting of pump controls and electrical pump systems.
Customer support and technical service, including after-hours availability as required.
Key Skills & Qualifications: Proven industry experience in pump service and repair.
Mechanical and electrical troubleshooting (EST or electrical qualifications are a plus).
Knowledge of hydraulic systems and fluid dynamics.
Experience with control systems, PLC systems, and variable speed drives.
Good written and verbal English skills.
A full and clean driver's license.
Knowledge of Grundfos products or similar pump systems.
Field service experience across the domestic, commercial, and industrial sectors.
Pump system design or irrigation systems experience.
Preventative maintenance and service planning.
Strong focus on customer service and problem-solving.
