Located at Wellington Regional Hospital, our team is dedicated to compassionate, effective, and resourceful healthcare.Are you an active researcher, with a PhD in a relevant field?Do you have a record of peer-reviewed journal publications commensurate with the level of appointment?Have you got demonstrated evidence of the use of technology and innovation to enhance teaching and research?Korero mo te turanga - About the roleTe Herenga Waka - Victoria University of Wellington is currently recruiting a permanent, full-time Pukenga Matua - Senior Lecturer in Nursing within Te Kura Tapuhi Hauora – The School of Nursing, Midwifery, and Health Practice.Key Responsibilities:Play an active role in the development and implementation of the Master of Nursing Science Programme.Conduct research to a world-class standard in nursing, attracting postgraduate students, collaborating with other researchers and seeking external research funding.Develop learning and teaching in nursing, including developing relevant course content that incorporates Maori and Pasifika perspectives, undertaking course coordination, and supervising students.Contribute to the:Development of the School's wider academic and strategic direction and planning.University's Te Tiriti o Waitangi and equity priorities.University's engagement with stakeholders, particularly in respect of health agencies, including with government, district health boards and partners relevant to our capital city location.O pumanawa - About youKey requirements:Demonstrated evidence of a high standard of teaching in a relevant field at tertiary level.Demonstrated experience in supervising student research at Masters and/or PhD level.Good interpersonal skills and demonstrated ability to work with students and staff from a diverse range of backgrounds.Commitment to the academic discipline and to service to the University, the wider community and, where appropriate, the profession.Evidence of successfully attracting competitive internal and/or national level funding for research activities.Role Description – Click here to see further information, including salary information.Contact Details for Vacancy:If you have any questions regarding this role please get in touch with Kathy Holloway (******).
