This iho draws off our heritage and is further defined by our turangawaewae, in particular Wellington, Aotearoa, and the Asia-Pacific, all of which are expressed in our position as Aotearoa New Zealand's globally ranked capital city university.Te Herenga Waka - Victoria University of Wellington is currently recruiting a Pukenga - Lecturer in Writing to join Te Kura Tatari Reo - School of Linguistics and Applied Language Studies on a permanent, full-time basis.Key responsibilities:Coordinating large undergraduate courses.Teaching at undergraduate and postgraduate level, online, onshore, and offshore.Conducting writing-focused or related research.Supervising MA and PhD students.You will have a PhD in writing pedagogy, rhetoric, professional writing, writing across the curriculum, writing in the disciplines, genre studies, or similar. You will have experience as an effective teacher of writing at the university level.
