Nga kawenga | About the role As a Psychologist in the Wellington office team, you will work in both group and individual therapeutic environments across Community Probation and Prison Services.
Your responsibilities will include conducting clinical assessments and treatment in prison and the community, providing supervision, advice, and training within Corrections and allied agencies, monitoring the integrity of rehabilitation programmes, and participating in service and research initiatives.
Treatment provision includes group programmes for both sexual and violent offences.
More experienced Psychologists will complete assessments for the New Zealand Parole Board and the Court and may act as Expert Witnesses.

The salary range for the role is $83,286 - $133,370 per annum.
Frontline Psychologists also have the ability to work towards additional allowances and allocated professional development funding.
Flexible and/or part-time options for working hours may also be available.
Appointment and remuneration will reflect skills and experience relevant to the role.
