Through provision of high quality case consultation, co-ordination and case management services to clients who are pregnant, or parents of children under 12 months of age, Kia Tu Ngawarisupports parents and babies to have the best opportunity to build a secure attachment and remain well in their own community.This role offers opportunities which include case management, assessment, monitoring, varied group work and liaison across the health sector. Applicants need to possess a willingness to professionally develop and be a positive team member.Our ideal candidate will be:Registered with the NZ Psychologists BoardAble to display a working knowledge and experience of professional practice in the area of key perinatal and infant mental health issues as well as a demonstrated ability to defuse or intervene in a crisis situationExcellent written and verbal communication skillsCommitted to the principles of Te Tiriti o WaitangiA career with Health New Zealand will see you action meaningful change in the region we love, and in your professional development – all whilst enjoying everything the stunning North has to offer.
