About the Role The Child Development Service is a community-based team of health professionals who are passionate about improving the health outcomes of children with developmental delays or disabilities. We work collaboratively with families/whanau and other services to support their goals and reach their potential. Our team of Allied Health Professionals works with children in their homes, schools, and at our clinics in Christchurch Central City.
We currently provide a Monday – Friday service. The days and hours required for this position are negotiable.
In this role, you will:
Complete assessments to consider Autism and Intellectual Developmental Disorder diagnosesWork collaboratively with children and their whanau through the assessment processWork alongside other Psychologists within the Child Development Service; Paediatricians; Education professionals; and other health professionalsProvide education to whanau where appropriate to support the child's development/functionAbout You We're currently looking for an NZ Registered Psychologist who is passionate about children to join our team!
