Courthouses need to be fit for purpose, complying with legislative and regulatory requirements, and meeting the diverse business needs of the Judiciary, Ministry of Justice staff, and other agencies working from the courthouse on a regular basis.
They also need to meet the needs of court users that enter our courthouses from time to time and reflect the partnership relationships the Ministry has with local iwi and hapu.
The Property Project Manager will lead and deliver a range of projects in both size and complexity and provide leadership to the team members within their project space. The role includes building strong relationships with key internal clients and supporting other project managers and coordinators with the aim of creating continuous development of a high-performing team.
O pukenga / Skills and Experience
To be successful in the role you will have:
Experience in the industry of building design, construction, and property infrastructure, with a strong understanding of property project management principles.Outstanding planning and organisational skills, with significant experience influencing continuous improvement across project delivery lifecycles.Commercial acumen and the ability to build strong relationships at all levels, having great communication skills both written and verbal.A sound understanding of All of Government project procurement principles.An understanding and appreciation of cultural issues and concerns, including Tikanga Maori.You will be joining the Property team to improve the quality of our new and existing property assets. To achieve this, our team contributes to a culture of collaboration and cross-functional integration.
We communicate with a wide range of audiences on complex issues and strive to build and maintain effective business relationships within this organisation and across a wide network of professional suppliers.

Utu a-tau / Salary
The appointing salary for this role will be between $110,766 and $154,680 based on skills and experience.
