Property Painter

Position: Property Painter  Job details  Employee must: ·Â  Read blueprints/instructions and examine surfaces to determine the kind and amount of work necessary ·Â  Make on-site preparations such as building scaffolding and ladders, covering fixtures etc. ·Â  Prepare walls and other surfaces for painting by removing old paint and wall paper, fixing holes and cracks, smoothing and sealing, etc. ·Â  Mix paint and other materials to prepare the right color or texture ·Â  Paint surfaces according to instructions with various tools ·Â  Apply varnish and other finishes ·Â  Match paint samples for touch up ·Â  Hanging wallpaper when required, trimming edges ·Â  Cleaning equipment and work area ·Â  Take and adhere to all health and safety precautions ·Â  Any other duties the employer reasonably may require employee to perform  Pay rate: minimum $29.66 / hour - maximum $32.00/ hour  Guaranteed hours of work per week: minimum 30 hours  Requirements for the job: ·      At lease 3 years of relevant work experience is required ·Â  Be physically fit ·Â  Full time availability, able to work during weekends ·Â  No criminal record ·Â  Candidates need to be NZ citizens/residents Original job Property Painter posted on GrabJobs .
