Property Manager

As a Property Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring that properties under our care are managed efficiently and effectively. While this is a demanding role, it is also highly rewarding. You will work autonomously, supported by robust systems and a collaborative team of experienced Property Managers.Key ResponsibilitiesBuild and maintain strong relationships with both owners and tenants.Proactively seek and acquire new business opportunities.Communicate clearly and consistently with clients.Conduct routine property inspections to ensure compliance and upkeep.Advertise and show rental properties to prospective tenants.Negotiate and secure tenancy agreements.Manage rent collection, bond lodgement, and monitor rent arrears.Investigate and resolve tenant issues or complaints.Oversee and review property repairs and maintenance needs.Approve and process payments related to repairs and maintenance.Maximise returns for property owners and minimise potential losses.Maintain accurate records and data in the Palace software system.Comply with company policies, procedures, and health & safety guidelines.Participate in ongoing training and development opportunities.Key Attributes:Thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.A self-starter who takes initiative.Strong relationship-building skills with the ability to connect with diverse people.Maintains composure under pressure.Kind, compassionate, and solutions-focused.Proficient in computing, especially in property management software.If you're ready for a fulfilling career in property management with a supportive team, we'd love to hear from you!Your application will include the following questions:Which of the following statements best describes your right to work in New Zealand?How many years' experience do you have as a property manager?Do you have customer service experience?Do you have a current New Zealand driver's licence?
