Property Manager at The University of Waikato, Bay of PlentyWe have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic Property Manager to provide key support for the operational management of our Tauranga campus.
You will be responsible for the management and delivery of day-to-day operational requirements including team leadership, management of facilities maintenance, project management, contractor management, and contract management delivery, monitoring condition of buildings, structures, plant and equipment, managing HSE, and being responsible for all building compliance requirements.
Additionally, you will oversee the management of tenanted University buildings and collaborate closely with occupants to address their building requirements and ensure seamless operations.
Salary will be in the range of $88,000 to $98,000 per year based on skills, knowledge, and experience brought to the position.
This is a full-time role (37.5 hours a week), based on our Tauranga Campus.

- Who are you? You will be seeking a compelling role that keeps you on your toes as you apply your qualification in Property/Facilities Management (Level 6) or equivalent experience within the industry.
You will bring a sound understanding of all aspects of property management functions, including maintenance, sustainability, procurement, contractor management, budgeting, safety, and compliance.
Strong administration skills are essential, as you will be responsible for maintaining accurate processes, generating reports, and ensuring all documentation is up to date.
Proficiency in computer systems is also required.
Additionally, a full, clean driver's licence is necessary.
You will need to be able to demonstrate leadership experience, strong stakeholder management, and relationship development skills.
Due to the varied nature of this role, you will demonstrate your strong organisational and coordination skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks whilst achieving deadlines.
You will be required to have the ability to adapt and be able to operate with a high level of autonomy, as well as being part of a team environment.
