We are looking for an outstanding person to manage a diverse portfolio of commercial and residential properties and oversee the property services for Commercial, Body Corporate, and Multi-Unit properties. Based in a spacious office in the central city, the business operates across the Auckland region, predominantly focusing in and near the Auckland Central Business District.The key focus of the role will be:To provide professional commercial property management including budgeting and annual plans.To manage and negotiate leasing and renewal activities of commercial tenancies.To manage Body Corporate Budgets and Administration.To manage individual building facilities and operational matters.To manage operational matters arising from various Auckland Council and City Rail Link street works.To support development managers on projects.To support the facilities management team on initiatives.To provide support to the residential and hotel management teams.To contribute to a high-quality, team-oriented culture.To coach and support junior members of the property team.The ideal candidate for this role will:Be able to form relationships with tenants and obtain mutually successful outcomes from negotiations.Have the ability to successfully negotiate tenancy agreements and leases from initial client contact through to the tenancy process.Have successfully managed building operations, contractors, and budgets.Have established relationships within Auckland's real estate and property industry suppliers and stakeholders.Possess a track record of meeting deadlines and ensuring delivery to agreed contractual specifications.Be of high energy, driven, enthusiastic, and innovative.Be able to form and maintain positive relationships within the organization.Have excellent written and verbal communication skills.The Company is a subsidiary of a long-established, multi-faceted organization, and the role is supported by an experienced and supportive human relations, finance, and senior management team. It is likely that you are a seasoned professional in the property management or facilities management field.
