About the role In this role, you will leverage your client relationship network and the company's to support the expansion and delivery of specialised project services in Auckland. As a key leader within the National Project Services team, you will collaborate with senior leadership and benefit from the support of a highly experienced group of Project Planners, Project Controls Specialists, and Project Managers.
Your responsibilities will include business development, client engagement, strategic planning, team growth, and expanding the project pipeline. Therefore, strong interpersonal and leadership abilities are essential. In addition to business development, you will take on a leadership role, advising and managing projects across Auckland from inception to delivery. You'll utilise your local expertise, technical skills, and leadership abilities to craft tailored solutions for clients alongside a talented team.
You will bring: At least 10 years of relevant consulting experience in New Zealand (perhaps an advisory background in construction) A proven track record of identifying and developing new business opportunities and nurturing client relationships Deep understanding of the Auckland market with the ability to spot and pursue new opportunities An established network within local government and the private sector Strong commercial, project management, and business development experience Demonstrated management and leadership skills, coupled with a collaborative, team-oriented approach.
