In this role you will be implementing, managing, and driving an integrated approach to project risk and contingency management across Infrastructure and other project delivery teams. Success in this role will be assessed by the improvement of project risk management processes across the project lifecycle and production of consolidated risk and contingency registers and reporting, supporting the management of enterprise risks. Your primary role is to act as the Infrastructure risk support guiding the assessment of all delivery related risks between planning and project completion while supporting the Watercare business risk and assurance function. There is a strong relationship building component to this role, working within the Risk and Assurance Team while supporting infrastructure project development and delivery, as well as other stakeholders across the business. You are a team player who enjoys collaboration and building strong relationships with cross functional teams. In addition, you will have skills and knowledge in the following: A qualification to degree level in a relevant discipline, preferably in risk management, engineering or quantity surveying. A demonstrated understanding of project risk management advice in the construction industry managing commercial risks in collaborative contracts and experience with construction cost estimating. Use of risk management reporting tools such as CAMMs and Active Risk Manager (ARM) including quantification of cost and schedule risks and analysis using simulation techniques. Good working knowledge of ISO3100 and experience of using NZS3910 and NZS3916 agreements. Knowledge and experience of project or programme delivery, preferably in an infrastructure business.
