We would like to hear from anyone with relevant Quantity Surveyor/Estimating experience looking to jump into that new venture to further grow their career in a fast paced and friendly team environment. As an all-rounder, it would be advantageous for the ideal QS candidate to also have some basic project management skills or vice versa project manager to have some Quantity Surveying/Estimating skills.

The Role
We are in search for an Intermediate Estimator/Quantity Surveyor to join their busy team based in Queenstown. Ideally, you will have minimum 2 years experience pricing and ideally come with strong technical knowledge, proven ability to work autonomously and have good work ethic and a desire to succeed.
This is a varied position, covering estimating, pricing and administrating all levels of residential and commercial developments.
Reviewing construction plans and preparing quantity requirements
Putting together monthly claims including site assessments of work completed
Quantifying material and placing orders with suppliers
Building relationships with main contractors, suppliers, and clients
Liaising with site managers, clients, contractors, and subcontractors
Handling all customer relations
Your Ability
Able to work unassisted, someone who has a positive attitude and is a team player
Sound numeracy, literacy, IT Skill and attention to detail
Ability to problem solve considering the detail and bigger picture
Excellent communication skills to build and maintain positive relationships
Strong scheduling, organizing and coordinating skills
Experience in take-off or relevant QS experience
