Our client has been in the New Zealand Construction Sector for the past 6 years with experience in Commercial, Industrial and Residential Buildings. Led by a director with several decades of experience, they boast a strong history of delivering successful projects and having a solid pipeline of work.
The Role:
You will have full control over the delivery of projects, that are well-designed, funded and negotiated with repeat clients. You will be leading an experienced site team of knowledgeable high performing staff who know how to build!
This is filling a big gap in the senior leadership team presenting a credible long-term position for a high-performing Project Manager, with an opportunity to advance in the company.
The Responsibilities
Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Build and maintain professional relationships, especially with clients, subcontractors, and the site team Ensure positive financial outcomes on the project by working closely with the commercial team You will need to be someone who displays vitality, is a relationship builder and someone who can lead and drive teams. Be client-facing and represent DCL Programming experience including EOTs. Deliver projects within agreed programmes Work closely with QS to ensure adherence to budget Manage Health & Safety To successfully execute the delivery of this project, manage a high-performing site-based team whilst taking into consideration the long-term approach our client has to business and construction. Experience Needed: Ideally have delivered start-to-finish commercial, industrial and projects Pre-construction experience A strong track record in the NZ market The Benefits: Long-term opportunity with progression - this role is due to strong but sustained growth.
