Due to growth and demand, we are in need of an experienced, dedicated and driven Project Manager or Senior Project Manager to join our Northland team for the delivery of multiple medium to large scale projects from conception to completion. These projects could be across a broad range of sectors including (but not limited to) education, residential development, subdivisions, commercial development, retirement, tertiary etc.
In this role, you will ensure that the delivery of our projects run smoothly and your responsibilities include being able to deliver the client's vision and proactively managing project issues. You will be adept at identifying potential development risks early and utilising the collective knowledge of your stakeholders to resolve them. You will be expected to contribute to the leadership and constant evolvement of our Northland office and projects.
Your experience must include the following: Successfully leading project teams at a senior level Strong contract management administration Communication and interpersonal skills that are second to none Lead the planning, execution, and closing of construction projects Develop project scopes, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources effectively Coordinate and supervise subcontractors, vendors, and onsite personnel Ensure compliance with safety regulations, building codes, and environmental standards Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and address any issues Prepare and present project reports to stakeholders Understanding of construction contracts and contract administration Above all you will be passionate not only about what you do but how you do it, and you must be up for (and love!) a challenge from time to time, both on our projects and within our team.
