Reporting to the Chief Operations Officer, you will collaborate closely with various internal stakeholders and external partners to drive enhancements across our inventory management processes.You will be crucial in ensuring that inventory data is effectively managed, analysed, and utilised to support the overall objectives of the organisation. By implementing efficient processes, leveraging technology, and fostering collaboration, you will contribute to optimising inventory levels, minimising costs, and enhancing customer satisfaction.Ko to mahi– What you will doAnalyse supply chain processes and develop, project, and recommend business improvement solutions.Generate regular reports for management review on inventory levels and associated trends.Investigate root causes of discrepancies and implement solutions as part of your continuous improvement efforts.Collaborate with relevant stakeholders to forecast inventory needs based on historical data, market trends and business projections.Provide insights and recommendations for improving inventory management practices and operational efficiency thereby saving costs.Develop, maintain and update databasesand inventory management systems to accurately record inventory information and movement.Ensure data integrity by conducting regular audits andoverseeingreconciliations of physical inventory with recorded data.Implementindustry standards to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies.Implement standardized naming conventions, categorization and coding systems for efficient data organization.Identify opportunities to streamline workflows, reduce lead times and eliminate bottlenecks in inventory-related operations.Train staff members on proper inventory management procedures, data entry protocols and system usage.Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure there is common alignment on the status of inventory and its movement.Na tou rourou-What you will bringExperience with implementing new inventory processes and continuous improvement initiatives.1+ experience with SQL being able to read and understand data structures and experience with PowerBI or equivalent reporting systems.Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets and draw actionable insights.Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail and reporting skills.Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with diverse internal and external stakeholders including senior leadership.Ability to adapt to changing priorities and meet tight deadlines.Knowledge of inventory control principles, supply chain dynamics, and inventory valuation methods.We are a passionate, diverse and inclusive team where to 'Empower By Creating Better Connections' is our stated purpose.
