We have a great opportunity to join us as a Project Manager in our Project Management Office (PMO).
The projects we deliver are diverse - from exhibitions, to public programmes, to commercial activity, digital programmes, to our operational requirements, to maintaining our buildings that house our National taonga.
We are looking for a Project Manager who can collaborate with others to deliver projects to an excellent standard, in a unique environment.
You will have an understanding of Matauranga Maori and the ability and willingness to work in a bicultural environment.
It is an added bonus if you've had project experience working with iwi or other community groups or have worked in the museum, film or cultural sectors.
About you: You have been a Project Manager for 3+ years and can demonstrate, within small to moderate sized projects, end-to-end project management discipline from initiation to project close out.Qualified or part qualified in Prince 2 or PMI or other recognised qualification/membership.High level of competence in Microsoft Project, Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams.You have polished communication skills both written and verbal.As your work touches on many teams, you'll be a 'people person' first and foremost, understanding and prioritising the relationships with Te Papa teams, our contractors and suppliers.You will be a team player and actively contribute to the ongoing improvement of our project management approach and how we do things in the PMO.About us: Te Papa stands proud as an iconic national museum housing the treasures of the nation and is a vibrant destination for both national and international visitors.

The salary for this position is $79,299 - $109,036pa with further room for progression through the band.
Offers will be made within the range to reflect the skills and experience offered by the candidate and those required of the role, and internal relativities with other employees.
