Jacobs is seeking an intermediate Project Manager to lead project teams and deliver consultancy engineering services for clients in the transmission & distribution, power generation, and industrial HV sectors.
This role involves hands-on project and design management across HV electrical, civil, mechanical, electrical, and structural engineering disciplines.
Key Responsibilities: Lead and manage project teams across the APAC region and our Global Delivery Centres.Focus on clients predominantly based in Western Australia, working with Panel and Client Managers to build relationships and position for future projects.Collaborate with team and discipline leaders to plan, scope, and deliver coordinated services, including commercial management, contracts, time, cost, change management, and reporting.Ensure safety for project teams and implement Jacobs' QA procedures and Client QA requirements.Monitor and report on project progress, risks, and issues.Act as a key contact for clients and provide hands-on project and design management.Additional Responsibilities: Act as a Project Manager on behalf of clients as an Owner's Engineer or representative, showcasing versatility and problem-solving skills.Lead the development of proposals and participate in business development activities.Train and develop new PM/PCs in Pricing Tool and Polaris for new Project Solutions and GID team members.Collaborate with the Integrated Delivery Lead, MOPs, Bid Manager, and Clients to better utilize GID resources on APAC projects.Here's what you'll need: Early career professional with 3-5 years of post-graduate experience.Enthusiastic and proactive go-getter with a strong desire to learn and grow.Relevant engineering experience is preferred.Experience in Energy & Power is desirable, but not required.Open to candidates with suitable experience who are eager to make an impact.Jacobs.
