The role:
Reporting to the Operations Manager, this new role is to ensure companywide projects are completed in a timely and cost-effective manner.
Key responsibilities include:
Team leadership and management - lead, mentor, and manage a team of project coordinators, engineers, and support staff.
Stakeholder and client management - act as the primary point of contact for key clients, ensuring their needs and expectations are met.
Project delivery and management - plan, coordinate, and manage the delivery of key projects, ensuring they are completed on schedule, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
Compliance and Health and Safety - ensure adherence to relevant compliance processes and develop and implement Health and Safety plans and ensure all team members are aware of safety protocols.
Civil works and on-site management - oversee civil works as required, ensuring projects adhere to industry standards and specifications and conduct site inspections to monitor progress and quality.
An excellent remuneration package, full personal use of a vehicle including relocation assistance is on offer. This is a senior role, which has the opportunity to grow within the business for the right candidate.
The ideal candidate:
A relevant tertiary qualification in Engineering, Building Science, or equivalent is preferred. Essential is your project management expertise in the roading and civil industry, delivering projects to time and on budget. A strong leader, you will also have a good knowledge of the Health and Safety at Work Act. Proficiency in project management software would be an advantage.
You will be a multi-tasker with a strong eye for detail, show initiative, and communicate well forming strong working relationships.
