Role Overview: Reporting to the Programme Manager, your role is to support approved NPDs (new product developments) with effective project management from feasibility to commercial launch, alongside other strategic projects.
You will lead the coordination of cross-functional stakeholders to ensure seamless project execution, fostering collaboration with both internal and external partners to achieve Vitaco's long and short-term objectives.
Additionally, you'll play a crucial role in providing training and mentorship in Project Management methodology and tools to project team members, contributing to the growth and success of the organization.
As part of this newly created role, you will contribute to the development of standardising the NPD project management process, driving efficiency and project success.
Responsibilities will include: Support project initiation, including business case development and project proposal.Define project scope and objectives, ensuring alignment with stakeholder needs.Collaborate with stakeholders to plan projects for timely and budget-compliant completion.Develop and communicate project plans, including schedules and task assignments.Foster collaboration with internal and external stakeholders throughout project execution.Manage project meetings and communication channels effectively.Overcome obstacles and find solutions to ensure project success.Provide regular status reports and timely escalation of challenges to promote project transparency and enable access to necessary support.Monitor project budget, schedule, and risks, recommending corrective actions as needed.Conduct post-completion reviews to identify achievements and areas for improvement.Coordinate recognition and reward for team contributions with project leaders and sponsors.Ensure agreement among stakeholders on project review and closure.Gain understanding of Vitaco's business units, markets, and regulatory requirements.What you'll need to bring: BCom or BSc Degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or related field, or similar.Minimum of 3 years of experience in project management in a dynamic operating environment, preferably within the FMCG industry.Demonstrated experience with best practice project management tools and methodologies.Solid experience with using ERP systems.Experience in nutritional supplements, foods, and/or sports nutrition will constitute an advantage.This opportunity is your gateway to an inspiring journey at Vitaco, where our core values of 'We Care, We Act, We Succeed' drive our collective efforts.
