This is a hands-on leadership role where your expertise will lead high-value , complex projects across the country. What you'll do: Lead teams on high-impact projects , delivering results that go above and beyond client expectations. Own the project lifecycle —from planning and resource allocation to execution , ensuring everything runs smoothly, on time, and within budget. Drive excellence in every aspect of project delivery, from quality to client satisfaction . Take charge of diverse and challenging projects including bridges , pipelines , pump stations , and civil infrastructure work. Build strong, trusted relationships with clients , subcontractors , and stakeholders , ensuring seamless collaboration. A University degree, min. Bachelor's in Civil or Mechanical Engineering ( essential ) 5+ years' experience as a Project Manager in civil construction, with a proven track record of delivering projects up to $10 million . Strong experience in managing civil concrete structures such as pump stations , bridges , and pipelines . Expertise in financial management —from cost reporting to contract management . A collaborative leader who fosters high-performing teams and builds strong stakeholder relationships . Proven ability to deliver high-quality projects through innovative solutions and smart decision-making. Able to pass a pre-employment medical and drug test . Current and valid rights to work in New Zealand.
