The Financial Crime Delivery team is part of our Financial Crime Operations (FCO) Centre of Excellence, which plays a leading role in delivering transformative and strategic initiatives to keep ASB, our customers, and communities safe from financial crime by mitigating the risks of money laundering, terrorism financing, sanctions, bribery & corruption, and tax evasion. You will be hands-on in a fast-paced environment, at the forefront of supporting the delivery of both technical and business initiatives from inception to go-live. Success in this role will be the ability to work collaboratively across the organisation with a pragmatic, customer-centric, and strategic approach to implement solutions through its delivery lifecycle. Mo te turanga | About the role: As a Project Manager, you will drive the execution of critical Financial Crime technology and process changes within designated timeframes, ensuring impeccable quality and adherence to stringent controls. Your role will encompass enhancing delivery processes to seamlessly translate business and customer requirements into tangible value. You'll oversee project financials, meticulously tracking costs against budgets, and manage the RAID register (Risks, Assumptions, Issues, Dependencies) to proactively mitigate project risks. Delivering complex technology and organisational change projects on time, within scope, and meeting quality, cost, and outcome expectations. Developing and maintaining comprehensive project roadmaps and plans, adeptly adjusting strategies as needed. Collaborating closely with stakeholders to deeply understand and fulfil their requirements. Providing clear direction to project teams, ensuring optimal performance and alignment with deliverables. Identifying and addressing risks, issues, and dependencies swiftly and effectively. Applying agile methodologies flexibly within project constraints to achieve optimal outcomes. Building trust and alignment across diverse stakeholders, fostering a unified approach to project success. Experience in AML, Financial Crime, and Compliance is an advantage.
