About the opportunity
Our talented project management specialists collaborate with our clients to deliver critical property infrastructure projects in the Education, Local Government, and Social Housing sectors. Joining our busy team, you'll be supported by Senior Project Managers to manage the full project delivery life cycle for a range of projects and will primarily be responsible for:
Developing effective client relationships and providing high-quality solutions
Managing relationships with key stakeholders including statutory authorities, consultants, contractors, and end-users
Assisting with the procurement of consultant and contractor teams
Attending client meetings and documenting project communications
Tracking and reporting on project deliverables, budgets, resourcing, and timelines
Managing project documentation including preparation and issue of contract instructions and correspondence
Successfully delivering projects from inception to handover
About You
As a client-side project manager, you'll thrive in a role that sees you building and managing your own client relationships with ease and confidence while delivering first-class outcomes. You'll also need to have:
5+ years' experience in the industry of building design, construction, and infrastructure
A strong understanding of client-side project management principles
Outstanding planning and organisational skills
Enviable communication skills – written and verbal
Commercial acumen and the ability to build strong relationships at all levels
A relevant tertiary qualification in project or construction management, engineering, architecture, quantity surveying, or a relevant postgraduate degree
Ministry of Education and/or Local Government Authority experience while not essential, will be well regarded. Working Knowledge of NZ 3910–2013 and NZ 3916 form of contracts would also be an advantage.
