The position: We are seeking an experienced Project Manager focused on foundation construction.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing foundation projects, demonstrating leadership, a commitment to safety, and a passion for delivering excellence.
Key Responsibilities: Oversee the planning, execution, and completion of foundation construction projects, ensuring they are delivered on time and within budget.
Collaborate with engineers, subcontractors, and stakeholders to ensure seamless project delivery.
Monitor project progress, conduct regular site inspections, and implement corrective actions as necessary.
Prepare and present detailed project reports and updates to stakeholders.
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards specific to foundation construction.
What is Required: The ability to work away from home (the projects range across the South Island and can involve staying away from home; you will be home for every weekend).
Proven experience as a Project Manager, specifically in foundation construction in New Zealand.
Knowledge of foundation engineering principles and project management methodologies.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to lead teams and manage on-site activity.
Civil Engineering diploma or higher advantageous but not required.
