This role will report to the Project Manager and work closely with the Production and Design team to ensure allocated interior and exterior installs are completed on time and to the client's specifications.All installations must be completed in a safe manner and in accordance with all company health and safety policies.
It is also imperative that the work is delivered on time and on budget.
You will be accountable for the projects allocated to you and will be responsible for installing and completing them as scheduled the first time.Technical installation duties:Structure/element design input for new installations, including site visits to establish constraints on fixings and check the substrate's suitability.Ensuring installed elements are installed as per their design and adequately fixed or installed before signoff.Ensuring specialty and power tools are safe to use.Ensure that installs are completed accurately, on time and on budget.General Installation duties (exterior and interior):Organising and executing the installation of projects, both interior plant designs and exterior landscapes.Working with a Design person to organise and execute the installation of projects.Installation of Moss Walls and assist with creating our Moss wall.Installation of Irrigation when required.Responsible for safely delivering inventory and stock to job sites for installation.Ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.General labouring duties as directed by management.Liaise professionally with clients, suppliers, and colleagues.Job completion notes.
You are responsible for taking notes and recording information as directed by management.Responsible for inductions and other paperwork relating to installs.Organising all products, materials, vehicles, and installers/contractors to be ready for install.Servicing plants as required once they are installed.Cleaning and tidying workplace and vehicles/trucks.Potting up of new stock where required for installs.Assist with Greenwall planting, installation, and maintenance.Travel throughout New Zealand as required for installation and maintenance.Meet Key Performance Indicators (KPI's) as set by management.Any other general duties as directed by management.Person SpecificationsExperienced using power tools.Comfortable working at heights.Full Driver's License and ability to travel.Takes initiative.The ability to see constraints as a problem to solve rather than a roadblock.Proactive planning and daily organisation.Practical thinker.Strong interpersonal and presentation skills.Self-Motivated.Excited by varied job responsibilities.Adaptable.Willing to take direction and give direction when needed.Physically able to lift at least 20kg.Experience managing projects within interiors and fit-out sector.Understanding of the horticultural industry.Knowledge of 5s, Kaizen, or Lean.If you want to join a dynamic team, apply now!
