Project Engineer

Who is hiring?Our client is a leading electronics manufacturer with production facilities locally as well as in Australia and China. They are committed to service excellence and value for their customers utilising state of the art manufacturing with a commitment to delivering the best solutions. Due to maternity leave they are looking for a motivated Project Engineer to join their Christchurch based team on a 1-year fixed term contract.The roleAs a Project Engineer you will be responsible for providing leadership and coordination to both customers and the manufacturing floor. You will provide customer support in all areas from quotation, NPI build, full production build and modification controls.What you will needTo succeed in this role you will need:Previous relevant experience in an engineering role within the manufacturing or electrical industries.Strong written and verbal communication skills.A degree qualification or higher in Engineering.The ability to plan activities in a time-efficient way.Our client has a strong pipeline for work for the remainder of 2024 and into 2025 with new products being introduced.
