Stellar Recruitment has partnered with a leader in constructing data centres across Australasia who are looking for a Project Coordinator to join their team in New Zealand.
Our client's team is responsive, innovative, and trusted in supporting their customers.
They configure the landscape to meet the security, reliability, connectivity, and sustainability needs for today and tomorrow.
Ideally, you will have had exposure to data facilities or have vast commercial main contractor or client-side construction experience, including experience working on complex commercial projects.
Key Responsibilities: Project Planning & Coordination Assist in developing detailed project plans including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation Support the PM in defining project scopes and key deliverables Prepare and maintain project documentation with the company's document control system (Aconex, SharePoint) Project Execution & Delivery Setup & maintain Project Letting Schedule and prepare subcontractor packages, scopes, and schedules Support the PM in managing project budgets and expenses and manage and track project expenditure, inclusive of subcontractor claims and variations.
Communication and Management Support the implementation and management of HSEQ standards Maintain clear and consistent communication with clients, subcontractors, and other project stakeholders through the whole project lifecycle Assist in preparing project status reports and presentations About You: Minimum 5 years' experience as a project coordinator within the construction industry (ideally within the data centre sector) Experience working in a commercial construction environment where you have demonstrated experience in liaising with a range of commercial subcontractors Demonstrated experience with construction industry-specific software such as Procore, Aconex, and BIM modules.
Excellent written, interpersonal, and communication skills.
Experience interpreting architectural plans and specifications.
Self-motivated, with the ability to work independently when required and first-rate communication skills - you will have daily interaction with subcontractors and repeat clients What's on Offer: A salary in the $110k-$120k range dependent upon your skills and experience.
