Job Description Te Whiwhinga mahi | The opportunity As the Project Coordinator, you will be responsible for overseeing the operational aspects of our research projects, ensuring that they are completed on time, within scope, and to the highest standards.
You will coordinate a team of Research Assistants across multiple locations, manage activities, and address any challenges that arise.
Your role will be pivotal in facilitating effective communication and collaboration across sites, ensuring that research goals are met, and supporting the professional development of team members.
This part-time position is ideal for a postgraduate student seeking to apply their academic knowledge in a practical, real-world setting.
This is a fixed term part-time role - 3 days per week (22.5 hrs per week) The remuneration is $68,600 – $84,700 per annum (pro-rated), dependent on skills and experience.

Mo to matou ropu | About the team The team is comprised of one PI who is a Clinical Neuropsychologist, one Geriatrician, one Health Economist and two Biostatisticians.
All but one named investigator identifies as Maori, and all have extensive experience conducting Kaupapa Maori research particularly in the area of mate wareware dementia.
He korero mou | About you You will be a Postgraduate student, ideally with a Postgraduate qualification in Social Science, and have experience with qualitative and quantitative data analysis as well as conducting previous research with the Maori community.
You will need to have: Postgraduate qualification in Social Science Ability to work unsupervised, good communication skills, and an independent thinker Excellent time management and organisation skills in planning and managing field trips for large groups Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work both independently and as part of a team Strong attention to detail and ability to provide accurate record keeping Me pehea te tuku tono | How to apply Applications must be submitted online, by the closing date of 20th October 2024 to be considered.
