We are community owned and working here means a career with meaning and purpose that makes a difference in your very own neighbourhood.The roleResponsible for programming and packaging of substation and other significant capital works projectsCoordinate programme timing and planning of substation and project worksEngage, manage and work closely with designers and consultants, ensuring quality work packs are provided and deliveredConduct early engagement with stakeholders to enable reliable and strong communication channels ensuring successful deliveryIn conjunction with other Orion stakeholders, ensure long lead capital assets are specified and procured to coordinate with work programmesResponsible for the coordination and updating of substation and project asset and works informationSupport the wider business to report, advise and drive continuous improvements on our delivery modelAbout youSignificant depth of experience in the management, construction and maintenance of Substation, Technical or complex electric power transmission or distribution system contracts or projectsLevel 6 tertiary qualification in the electrical industry or equivalent knowledge gained through experienceStrong personal leadership skills with the ability to motivate, influence and guide othersSound knowledge and understanding of the Electricity Act, current Electrical (safety) Regulations, Electrical Codes of Practice and SMEI'sNatural ability to connect and collaborate with others where you can convey technical information and ideas to various audiencesA curious, pro-active and positive approach with the ability to think outside the box with a customer centric approachProficiency in the Microsoft suite including strong knowledge of ExcelWe offerYou'll find at Orion, you can come as you are and just be you.
