Full timeThe opportunity is now available for someone with self-motivation and drive to fill the position of Duty Manager with us at Hornby PAK'nSAVE!Your role as Duty Manager will be to assist the Store Manager with the smooth operation of the store during the daytime and provide support across the store in the absence of Department Managers, their departments and staff in the evenings. You will also share the responsibility of closing the shop at the end of the day. The successful applicant MUST have previous Supermarket experience.Further skills and attributes required for this position include:Leadership and relationship managementHigh level of integrity, reliability, honesty and personal presentationQuick to identify and eliminate operational inefficienciesProven interpersonal skills, experience handling staff welfare issues and on the job mentoringFlexibility and vision in relation to the ever-changing retail environmentDrive a people focused culture of business excellenceReporting to the Store Manager, your key responsibility will be maximizing opportunity on the coal face of our bustling store through and with our people.This is a Full-Time position from Tuesday to Saturday 1:00pm-10:00pm (42.5 Hrs. per week).
