Programme Manager – Lead and Inspire at School's Out Onekawa
Are you passionate about shaping the future of tamariki and creating a magical experience that bridges the gap between school and home? School's Out Onekawa is on the lookout for a dynamic and enthusiastic Programme Manager to spearhead our thriving OSCAR Programme at Onekawa School, Napier. This is your chance to make a real difference in the lives of children aged 5 to 13 years old and lead a passionate team to success!
What You'll Do:
Lead with Impact : Oversee the daily operations of Schools Out Onekawa, including before school care, after school care , and engaging holiday programmes .
Create Memorable Experiences : Design fun, creative activities that spark joy, creativity, and learning in the children you care for.
Nurture Relationships : Build strong bonds with parents and guardians, ensuring they feel supported and confident in the care their children receive.
Team Leadership : Manage, support, and roster a small, dedicated team of staff, fostering a positive and collaborative work culture.
Smooth Logistics : Organize seamless daily logistics, from running the pickup service for the schools we support to coordinating enriching holiday programmes.
Safety First : Ensure the well-being and safety of all children, maintaining the highest standards of care.
What We're Looking For:
A natural leader with proven experience managing teams and a passion for child development.
Someone who excels in customer service and has a solid background in business operations .
A creative and enthusiastic individual who finds joy in working with children and understands their developmental needs.
Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail, ensuring programmes run smoothly day in and day out.
A confident communicator with strong interpersonal skills who can build relationships with families and collaborate with our National office and local Programme Managers.
Full, clean driver's license is essential, Manual driver is a bonus!
Police Vetting required, as per the Vulnerable Children's Act.
