Hastings Girls' High School - Nga Rau Huia o Akina is looking for an enthusiastic and experienced history teacher to join our dedicated teaching team. The successful applicant will have a thorough understanding of NCEA History Levels 1–3 and be confident in delivering engaging lessons across these levels.
Our unique junior curriculum is cross-curricular, providing kaiako the chance to teach in other subject areas. A key part of the role is the ability to incorporate Matauranga Maori into classroom practice and build strong connections with akonga.
We are seeking a candidate who is passionate about student achievement, works well in collaboration with colleagues, and is eager to engage fully in school life.
